Sahar Dalahmeh, Ph.D., is a researcher at Department of Energy and Technology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Her presentation will discuss the occurrence and of micro-pollutants (PFAS, and pharmaceutical residues) in different waste streams (Blackwater, urine, municipal wastewater and sewage sludge), their fate when wastewater fractions are applied as fertilizers, and the development of biochar filters for household wastewater treatment for removal of macro and micro-pollutants.
