J. David Velleman is a professor of philosophy at New York University. He primarily works in the areas of ethics and moral psychology.

Participants in the colloquium are expected to read the paper ahead of time. The colloquium itself is devoted to question and answer and in-depth discussion about the paper. Copies will be available in 305 Louise Pound Hall.
