Big Red Singers closes its 2018-2019 performance season with a performance at home, in Kimball Recital Hall this April. They will be performing both their Nebraska Show Choir Camp Show and their 2019 Custom Show. You will get to enjoy all this season’s fan-favorites, such as “Peroxide Swing,” choreographed by April James, “Fallen Star,” choregraphed by Braxton Carr, and “Heartlines,” choregraphed by Lexi Robson. Big Red Singers will also be debuting one new piece, choreographed by Braxton Carr and Matt Watson, entitled “Loose,” made popular by recording artist Allen Stone. This will be the last opportunity to catch this ensemble this year. You don’t want to miss it!

The Vocal Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of David von Kampen, will perform seven tunes including Baby Driver, I’ll Be Seeing You and finish with Hanging On. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Vocal Jazz Ensemble is a small choir, open to all members of the University community by audition. Students are instructed in jazz style, ensemble singing, lyric delivery, solos and improvisation.
