Dine & Dialogue presented by Sara Weixelman, HR Generalist, College of Business. Using cards developed for use in the Dine, Dialogue & Pass It On program, this brown bag session will focus on structured dialogues about race, diversity and inclusion. Participants will gain experience with engaging in conversation on difficult topics in a safe space so they can do so with greater ease in the larger community.

Ouch! That Stereotype Hurts presented by Rachel Wesley, Academic Adviser, College of Business. This workshop, from the Diversity & Inclusion Center, helps participants understand the impact of stereotypes and biased statements; explore the reasons we remain silent when bias and stereotypes are present; and give participants tools for speaking up without blame or guilt.

Free for UAAD members; $5 for nonmembers.
