Machine learning has become increasingly popular. What is it? Machine learning is taking data and analyzing it in a way that helps you make good business decisions. While limited data has always been available, the volume and level of sophistication have grown enormously. Its proponents give it an almost mythical capability in describing its predictive and analytic powers.
In this session, Dr. Steve Cooper, computer science associate professor and director of the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management, will cover some of what machine learning includes, what you, as a business owner/executive should be thinking about, and why a certain degree of caution is warranted.
Cost is $54, includes lunch and parking validation.
