People of all ages all over the world will be walking out of their homes, jobs, and schools for a Global Climate Strike to demand climate justice and emergency action to tackle the climate crisis. Nebraska is joining the fight!
Nebraska has a unique opportunity to use our agricultural systems, grasslands, wind and solar potential, and #NebraskaStrong spirit to be part of the solution. We need conversation and action on the state level. Let’s make some noise and demand climate action from our elected officials!
Meet by the fountain on UNL’s campus at 2:30pm. We will begin marching to the capitol at 3:00pm. Once at the capitol, we will stand together demanding state-level climate action!
For more information on the Global Climate Strikes visit: https://globalclimatestrike.net/
Updates on the strike, poster making events, climate action story workshops, and more will be posted on this event page—stay tuned and spread the word!
