Jamie Reimer, associate professor of voice, and Brenda Wristen, professor of piano and piano pedagogy, will perform “Nebraska Songbook,” which portrays our state’s scenery and poetry through song. The piece was composed by Greg Simon, assistant professor of composition.

A reception will follow the lecture.

The talk is the eleventh installment in a series of 12 Nebraska Lectures in 2019, part of the university’s celebration of its 150th anniversary this year. The lectures will focus on unique aspects of Nebraska and the university.
