The Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Consortium and Nebraska Water Center are partnering to host this meeting to bring people together to discuss how to empower publics and create effective policies for water quality enhancement, particularly reduction of nitrates in water, and to build future collaborations and pursue funding opportunities.

We are hoping that this topic will attract scholars from a wide range of different and relevant areas (e.g., public policy, public engagement, evaluation, communication studies, water quality, natural resources).
