In this edition of the Small Business Learning Series hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, business owners hear about what it takes to run a successful crowdfunding campaign, the ins and outs of this method of raising funds and how businesses can position themselves in the crowded market for optimal results. Hear from Rachael Blaske, operator of multiple Kickstarter campaigns including Tabletop Gaming, and Sara Brown, who opened Rutabagas in September 2019 with the help of a crowd-funding platform, on their experiences with crowdfunding. Business owners will leave the workshop with a clear picture of what it takes to run a crowdfunding campaign, decide on goals and begin their journey in crowdfunding.
Sign up by Friday, January 24 at go.unl.edu/crowdfunding.
Lunch and parking will be provided. This workshop is a part of the monthly Small Business Learning Series run by Umeda Islamova. To be notified of future events, please send an email to umeda@unl.edu.
