The UNL Association for Women in Science (AWIS) institutional partnership steering committee invites all interested faculty, staff, and graduate students to join us for an AWIS Webinar Watch-a-Thon followed by roundtable discussions. At the event, attendees will watch two webinars produced by AWIS: (1) “Tips and Strategies for Women in STEM to Successfully Integrate Careers and Home Life” presented by Dr. Joan Herbers, and (2) “Be an Effective Manager, Diligent Subordinate and Good Colleague” presented by Dr. Donna Dean. Following each 15-minute webinar, participants will network and engage in roundtable discussions on the topic discussed in the webinar. Opportunity will be provided at the end of the event for each table to share highlights of their discussions.
