Dr. Grace Panther, assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering, UNL, will present “Research in Engineering Education.”
Research in engineering education spans many dimensions, from practical applications in the classroom to theory development. Specifically, the areas of research interest include engineering knowledge, inclusivity in engineering, faculty development, and 3-D spatial skills. This presentation will further explore these areas through a brief overview of four research projects. The research projects use both quantitative and qualitative methods with participants from a range of populations including K-16, faculty, and practicing engineers.
Will also be able to be viewed in 160 PKI.
