Ryan Fette, JD McCown, and Pat Tetreault will provide a review of basic terminology and concepts about sexual orientation and gender identity; best practices for name in use and pronouns; and information from the 2017 LGBTQA+ Campus Climate & Needs Assessment. Recommendations and best practices for supporting LGBTQA+ students and campus community members will be discussed.
