The February Faculty Connector will be a pre-show reception followed by a performance of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company. A master of modern dance, Bill T. Jones leads one of the world’s iconic dance companies in its return to the Lied Center. With styles influenced by improvisation, African and Afro-Caribbean dance, and modern techniques, Jones has been honored with a National Medal of Arts, Tony Award® and a MacArthur Fellowship. This performance features one of the company’s latest works, On the Water–a meditation on community building in a confusing era.
