Dr. Kenneth Wald is a professor of political science and of American Jewish culture and society. He is the winner of the 2019 National Jewish Book Award for American Jewish Studies. Wald will explore the factors that influence the politics of the American Jewish community. He will examine the conundrum around why American Jews favor the more liberal political party and why they are the only diaspora community who tend to fall on the liberal side of the political spectrum.
