How do we design the online first week in order to remove barriers and facilitate learning? How do we incorporate essential Canvas features and implement simple design strategies to help achieve academic goals? This workshop will provide instructors with easy-to-do strategies that have a big impact. These strategies help instructors use the virtual first week wisely in order to remove barriers to learning, begin building the course community, and facilitate student interactions.
