This fall, one primary difficulty is figuring out how to teach a course when some students are online, and others are attending in-person. This will mean moving lots of class materials online, which leaves the key question: how do I make the best use of my face-to-face time? This interactive workshop will identify which aspects of a course are best delivered online versus in the classroom.
Additionally, it will cover the different considerations for balancing synchronous versus asynchronous interactions when determining how often to meet with your class. You will come away from this workshop with a better understanding of how to choose among the different options for the fall to deliver your course that best serves your students.
