Sheila Orth, Library Associate at the University of Kansas Libraries, will share a virtual presentation on “Cemeteries and Genealogy” at the monthly Genealogy over Lunch session. Discover what cemeteries can show us about our own ancestors using obituaries, church, funeral home, and cemetery records. Orth will also cover cemetery symbolism art and meanings.

Genealogy over Lunch is a University Libraries’ group designed to help individuals explore and organize family history, which meets every third Thursday of the month. The group welcomes all faculty, staff and students.
