Farmers Market trainings are available for rural Nebraska farmers, market managers, and vendors. Presented by UNL Extension’s Regional Food Systems Initiative, Buy Fresh Buy Local Nebraska, and the Center for Rural Affairs, this series is part of a multi-year effort to enhance rural farmers markets in Nebraska and contribute to rural community prosperity. We encourage you to register for trainings nearest to your location, however, if those dates do not work, you are welcome to attend other dates.
There will be two different training topics for three areas. Training topics include: 1. Marketing and Vendor Recruitment; 2. Legal Structure and accepting SNAP/EBT benefits.
