Dr. Gregory Leyer, UAS Laboratories, will present remotely via Zoom for the Nebraska Food for Health Seminar Series on “Probiotics from discovery to market.” It will walk through the unique production issues and process controls necessary to manufacture live microorganisms, while meeting the shelf-life requirements of various finished food/dietary supplement products. Discovery platforms will be discussed, and relevant case studies will be shared.
