A jewel of the universe is coming to Nebraska’s first planetarium. Join us on Zoom or Facebook Live as we unveil a stunning image of cosmic beauty taken by the legendary Hubble Space Telescope for its 30th anniversary! The University of Nebraska State Museum’s Ralph Mueller Planetarium was selected as the only site in Nebraska to receive this print. It is a breathtaking view that you can enjoy whenever you visit us, to be inspired by the wonders of our universe. After the virtual unveiling, stop by the Museum to see the banner in person. The banner will be on display into 2021. Please note that advance ticket reservation is required to visit Morrill Hall due to social distancing requirements. Admission is free for UNL faculty, staff, and students with a valid N-card.
