This fall, Flyover New Music presents two evenings of new collaborations. In response to the pandemic, which has completely changed possibilities for making music in person, the composers at UNL have teamed up with our performer colleagues to create music for our time. The goal was to collaborate on the creation of new works for solo performer: works that could be rehearsed via videoconference, practiced in isolation, and performed under any socially-distanced circumstance, from an empty concert hall to a studio apartment via webcast.
On Thursday, October 1st, Flyover presents collaborations with Dr. Dave Hall’s percussion studio. The program will feature new works for solo snare drum and solo marimba. Join us from Westbrook Recital Hall.
No in-person audience.
