Join us to learn how one of our midwestern neighbors manages their water resources! Illinois State Hydrologist Laura Keefer and State Geologist Richard Berg will highlight Illinois’ water management, including state water planning, surface and groundwater challenges and innovations and three-dimensional architectural frameworks of the geology as optimum starting points for modeling.
At the conclusion of their seminar, a panel of Nebraska water leaders from the Department of Natural Resources and USGS will compare and contrast Nebraska water management practices with those they learned from Illinois.
