Ellen Ochoa, the first Latina in space, will present the keynote presentation, “Celebrating Women in Science,” during Nebraska Research Days. Ochoa is the second female director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, where she led the human space flight enterprise from 2013-2018. Her talk is co-sponsored by the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) and the Office of Research and Economic Development.
