Conversation with Dr. Ernest Gilman (New York University) and Dr. Rebecca Totaro (Florida Gulf Coast University) about the plague and early modern representations. We will reflect from within our current pandemic on how writers weathered plague times and what kinds of representations we examine in our historical consideration of pandemics and human suffering. We will reflect on the researching and presentation of this topic for modern audiences as well.
