Antonio Duran (he/him) is an assistant professor at Auburn University in the Administration of Higher Education program. His research involves understanding how historical and contemporary legacies of oppression (e.g. racism, heterosexism and trans oppression) influence college student development, experiences and success. In particular, he leverages critical and poststructural frameworks to guide his work. He is especially passionate about mobilizing intersectionality to understand how queer people of color encounter and resist overlapping structures of oppression.
