The Diversity Engagement Team (DET) will provide updates to the campus on policies and data—student and employee equity data as reported by undergraduate education and IEC. Comprised of a group of administrative professionals whose primary responsibilities are keenly focused on promoting diversity, equity, and/or inclusion. The DET meets as a collaborative, consulting with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion on matters and priorities related to institutional diversity, equity, and inclusion and identifies key areas for institutional action that calls for a collective, collaborative, and/or individual response. This is the first of future DET updates that will provide pertinent information on the campus efforts to promote inclusive excellence across departments, units and colleges.
