Join Morrill Hall to celebrate the 149th anniversary of the first Arbor Day, started right here in Nebraska. Learn about the history of the holiday, the importance of trees in our ecosystem, and common native trees. We’ll take a look at fossil tree specimens to think about past and present environments and how trees fit in. Then, we will make a rubbing journal so that you can head outside later and explore trees in your neighborhood!
