Dying is a part of life, but it is an experience that is still poorly understood. Questions remain: what is the dying experience like, is the experience the same for everyone, and has modern medicine improved the dying experience? Believe it or not, studying stress, human hair, and museum collections can shed light on these questions and provide hope that improvements are possible. Join Katie East, PhD student in anthropology, to learn how her research is helping us learn more.
