Writing can leave an indelible mark on the process of growth, learning and well-being. It can help to intersect our personal, academic, and collective lives, allowing us space to reflect, learn and heal.

From online journal reflection to pen and paper writing and drawing, this virtual symposium offers you a “circle” of friends also seeking knowledge on implementing the practice of writing in academic and personal spaces. Attendees will hear our two keynote speakers who have expertise and wisdom in the various uses of writing. There will also be sessions focusing on research-based practice of writing in individual, community and educational avenues, as well as quiet personal writing spaces for your own writing process. Our intended audience is open to anyone interested in reflective and expressive writing! There will also be writing research information for educators, counselors, and psychologists.

A Zoom link will be emailed to registrants on the day prior to the symposium.
