At the Genealogy over Lunch discussion group will be joined by Laura Weakly, Metadata Encoding Specialist in the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities, who will present on how she is using the free version of Omeka to share her family letters and other materials. Omeka is a Digital Scholar project, originally launched at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media. Laura will also talk about how she uses Google Sheets to help organize her materials and workflow.

Genealogy over Lunch is a University Libraries’ group designed to help individuals explore and organize family history, which meets every third Thursday of the month. The group welcomes all faculty, staff and students.
