A growing body of science supports the idea that gut microbes can be manipulated through diet for better health—both for healthy individuals and those with diagnosed conditions. But in a practical sense, how will we create these foods and make them accessible to individuals who will benefit?

Join Dr. Andy Benson, director of the Nebraska Food for Health Center, along with other scientific and industry experts, for an overview of what we need to make ‘food for health’ a reality. The experts who will describe the state-of-the-art in six areas—preventing disease, treating disease, growing food for health, formulating foods for health, commercial development and regulatory frameworks—and will address the current gaps and what the future of these foods might look like.

The session will feature a dynamic Q&A session, providing the opportunity for audience members to ask questions of the panelists.

After the webinar, the topics will be addressed in more detail at the virtual Agriculture and Health Summit on October 11-13, 2021. Webinar registrants will receive a discount code to register for the main event for only USD $75.
