We recently identified a new type of bioactive component—vesicle-like nanoparticles—in honey, mushrooms, and other foods. They demonstrate potent anti-inflammatory functions in cell culture. We have explored their therapeutic potential in animal disease models and elucidated their key molecules that mediate their anti-inflammatory functions.
