This student-led open house will demonstrate five industry and hobby hydroponic systems. These include Deep Flow Technique (DFT), Deep Water Culture (DWC), Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), Bato bucket closed loop system, and non-recirculating bag culture. Students will also exhibit prototype systems created as teams to propose systems to meet specific purposes or as demonstrations for those in education and public outreach.

Horticulture 307 Hydroponics For Growing Populations is taught by Stacy Adams, agronomy and horticulture associate professor of practice.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Guests can enter through the north door of the building and peruse the different systems at their leisure and engage in discussion with students about hydroponics.
