Equity in the classroom is not a destination, but a journey requiring ongoing reflection and input. This workshop will facilitate reflection by presenting inclusive teaching strategies, then provide time for reflection and discussion with your peers. The workshop will facilitate discussion around three topics: course policies, course interactions, and assessments. We’ll work together to identify ideas and next steps to continue increasing equity in our courses. Come prepared with your syllabus, and a couple of assignments from your course.

Discussions in this workshop also aim to prepare participants to incorporate equity considerations into their teaching philosophies.
