Title: “Complementary approaches to unravel the small intestine biology and microbiome”
Abstract:
With the digestive health market expected to reach $58 billion globally, by 2025, the efforts have been mostly focused on colonic discoveries. The small intestine, with a length of 20+ feet, has been largely unexplored due to technological challenges. Our lab is focused on dismantling these barriers and developing new path for a greater understanding of microbiome and immune system of this digestive region. Thus, offering new opportunities for improving digestive wellness.
This seminar will be in-person & streamed via Zoom.
