For two and half full weeks over summer, eleven Emerging Media Arts students, Professor Ash Smith and Director Megan Elliott traveled to London for London: Story Abroad Future Fictions – scouring the city for transmissions, listening, writing, telling stories, building worlds. They visited artists in their studios, did workshops at University of the Arts London: Central Saint Martins, and in 72 hours made films, guerilla style, with actors from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film.
Catch the LNK premier of these films and hear from the makers and actors about their experiences making them on the streets of London!
The last time these films were screened was in London’s coolest club, Newspeak House, still fresh with the scent of Harry Styles, who held his pop-up in the very same room the weekend before!
