Our research focuses on developing the next generation of vaccines using engineered viral vectors and universal foundation antigens. We study viral evolution in order to produce universal vaccines that establish a broadly reactive immune repertoire in naïve immune systems. In addition, we engineer Adenoviruses and explore their use as delivery vehicles for vaccines, gene therapy and oncolytic treatment. We hope to, one day, use viruses to prevent disease and cure refractory cancers.
