Annual State of Our University Address delivered by Chancellor Ronnie Green. The speech outlines campus momentum and the direction for the new academic year. Event is free and open to the public.

The State of our University Address is part of a celebratory day on campus.

Prior to the speech, the university will hold its annual Celebration of Service for employees. Rick Alloway, professor of broadcasting, will serve as emcee. Awards recognize employees who have worked at the university in five-year increments up to 55 years. Employees can pick up service awards in the Lied Commons Starting at 8:30 a.m. Doors to the Lied Center auditorium open at 9:30 a.m. for Celebration of Service seating.

Following the speech, an all-employee picnic will be offered on R Street (between 12th and 13th streets). Food provided by University Dining Services.
