This event will celebrate Nebraska biochemist Edgar Cahoon’s recent $12.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy. He is leading an interdisciplinary, eight-institution team in exploring how oilseed crops can help replace petroleum-based products and mitigate the effects of climate change. Speakers will include Chancellor Ronnie Green; Mike Boehm, NU vice president and Harlan vice chancellor for IANR; and Bob Wilhelm, vice chancellor for research and economic development.
