Qi Gong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing, and movement exercises.

These classes will cover the basic concepts of Qi Gong. Posture (stances), relaxed deep breathing, flowing movement, and a basic understanding of the mind-body connection. Classes are designed to improve body awareness, increase focus, and improve balance and flexibility; it also helps to lower stress & anxiety.

WEEK 1: BREATH
Focuses on clearing the mind, being present with controlled breathing (Micro Cosmic Orbit breathing cycle) which helps cultivate Qi (life force) energy.

WEEK 2: POSTURE
Learn the proper stances to improve posture. Stances help with balance and flexibility. This level incorporates holding in stances with breathwork.

WEEK 3: MOVEMENT
Add movement to your meditation. Learn all five element forms to clear meridian points through movement.
