Juan Rattalino, Digital Agronomy Development Lead for Global Seeds at Syngenta Group, presents “Computational agronomy to support farmer decision-making”. The agriculture industry has begun harnessing the power of big data and advanced analytics to improve yields, increase profits, reduce risk, and minimize impact on the environment. In this Seminar, I will introduce some promising data-driven approaches to help growers make better management decisions and discuss some of the common limitations in developing scalable models.
