This 3-session program will introduce participants to course-level learning analytics (LA). Each 60-minute in-person session will be followed by an optional 30-minute hands-on session where participants can work with data from their own course(s) with the assistance of the facilitators. Registration is capped at 12 participants
By the end of the program, participants will be able to do the following:
<ul>
<li>Recognize and describe the affordances and limitations of course-level learning analytics</li>
<li>Make use of readily available learning analytics data via Canvas New Analytics and UNL’s Course Insights within Canvas to inform instructional strategies and interventions throughout the semester</li>
<li>Generate course-level teaching and learning questions that learning analytics data can inform</li>
<li>Design courses and instruction that generate good data.</li>
</ul>
Participants will work with data from a course they taught during the spring or fall of 2022.
