This training will provide an understanding of the extremist violence construct and its applicability to threat assessment concepts. Learn to apply the concepts of the escalatory process of extremist violence to the targeted violence pathway and identify and analyze indicators of extremist violence mobilization. Hear how to evaluate the influence of mental illness symptoms on extremist beliefs, formulate central questions for clinical professional to use in practice, and discuss and evaluate key threat assessment and management considerations.
