Betty Czarnek is a naturally gifted, nationally recognized artist. Her acclaimed pieces represent her own unique visions of nature inspired by her years of experience, travels and prairie vistas of her home in rural Nebraska. She specializes in landscapes and is fascinated with mountains, water and skies.

This exhibition encompasses oil paintings of beautiful scenes from the Black Hills of South Dakota and Sandhills of Nebraska.

Betty received her B.A. in Art Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She taught art for grades 1-12 in Greeley, Nebraska and part-time elementary art in St. Paul, Nebraska. For ten consecutive years, Betty was selected to compete in the Custer Stampede Art Auction. The auction is a juried event held annually just before the Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup, simultaneously with the arts and crafts festival.

Betty is the owner of BMarie Originals, an art gallery in St. Paul, Nebraska. Her work is displayed in galleries and homes across the country.

This exhibition is located in 2nd floor link at Nebraska Innovation Campus and is free and open to the public daily from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. through April 30.
