The Propagating Research Ethics around Sexual Marginalization and Transgender Issues Conference (PRISMATIC), funded by the National Science Foundation, begins in March 2023 with a virtual workshop series. PRISMATIC is lead by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Clemson University, and the University of North Carolina Charlotte, with logistical support provided by the UNL Center for Science, Mathematics and Computer Education.

In May, PRISMATIC will host a hybrid conference (separate registration form coming soon). Attendees can participate online or in-person in Lincoln, Nebraska. A review process will be used to award travel grants for in-person applicants. Registrants of any of the workshops will be asked to contribute to idea propagation through Fall 2023.

The organizing committee and leadership team will review the travel grant requests for the May 2023 conference and will base decisions on: 1) prior engagement and contributions to the idea generation virtual series, 2) commitment from participants to contribute to idea propagation, and 3) ensuring a diversity of conference attendees in terms of gender, sexuality, race, academic rank, and institution.
