Ryan Fette, education and outreach coordinator for UNL’s Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance, will review information about the university’s policies and procedures related to sexual misconduct and answer participants’ questions. The review will cover prohibited behaviors, reporting responsibilities, and campus resources so participants have a common understanding of basic concepts related to Title IX and Sexual Misconduct. To ensure that topics of interest are covered, participants can submit questions anonymously before the workshop at https://go.unl.edu/anonymousquestions. Live questions will be addressed as time permits.

Fette grew up in Nebraska and completed a B.A. in international studies and an M.Ed. in educational administration at UNL. He began his professional career in student conduct and has served as a conduct officer in student affairs at both the University of Arizona and UNL. Fette joined Institutional Equity and Compliance at UNL in 2016 as a civil rights investigator and became the education and outreach coordinator for the office in 2019. Fette enjoys helping a variety of campus constituents understand the university’s policies and procedures related to discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. In addition to his full-time position, Fette is pursuing a Ph.D. in educational psychology at UNL, with a focus on quantitative, qualitative, and psychometric methods.
