Join the UNL Phi Beta Kappa Chapter and the Cather Project in celebrating the life and legacy of Pulitzer-Prize-winning novelist Willa Cather, and 1895 graduate of the University of Nebraska. In honor of the 150th anniversary of her birth, Cather will be inducted as an honorary member of Phi Beta Kappa (the chapter did not induct hits first members until 1896). Freelance writer and journalist Carson Vaughan (inducted into the UNL Phi Beta Kappa chapter in 2010) will speak and refreshments will be served.
