To learn more about this beautiful holiday, the International Quilt Museum is hosting a special event with three read-alouds of the book “Day of the Dead: A Celebration of Life” by Polo Orozco and live music by students from UNL’s Glenn Korff School Music. In addition to refreshments, there will be an art project where you can decorate sugar skulls with paper, tissue paper, sequins, and markers

Meet in the Louise Pound Hall Atrium (Room 130) at 4:45 p.m. and the group will depart together take the 5:05 p.m. bus to the International Quilt Museum. You’re also free to meet us at the International Quilt Museum at 5:30pm.
