Tanabata, or the star festival, is a popular event celebrating an ancient Chinese legend about star-crossed lovers Altair and Vega. In Japan, these two stars are called Orihime and Hikoboshi. According to legend, the lovers are separated by the Milky Way and can only meet on one night a year. The event is open to all Husker students. Bubble tea will be provided.
