A two-hour service event for 200 returning and first year Huskers to help local nonprofits with gardening work, serving meals to participants, sorting donations, and other opportunities.
Students are able to choose where they want to volunteer, including:
- People City Mission
- Good Neighbor Community Center
- Lincoln Children Zoo
- Lincoln Parks and Recreation
- Foundry
- Civic Nebraska
- Conservation Nebraska
- Capitol Humane Society

TRANSPORTATION
Volunteers are asked to sign up in advance and meet at Broyhill Fountain at 8:30 a.m., located on the north side of Nebraska Union. Transportation will be provided for all volunteers. Buses will leave at 8 45 a.m. for the service sites.
